about breadandtea

breadandtea’s name comes from the Scottish born US adventurer and conservationist John Muir. Legend has it that he’d throw some bread and tea into a sack, jump over the back fence, and disappear into the wilderness for a spell.

Sounds appealing. I’m a bit more foo foo, I admit

So this blog is about travel. Funny or miserable. Sunny or cold. High maintenance or Muir style.

If I’ve slagged off your service, send me a voucher for a free trip and I guarantee an immediate and heartfelt retraction. Integrity is all…

Me? Iain Taylor. A travel addict. Living in Fife, Scotland.

I write this stuff in airports or hotels when I’m away – at home (late at night) or on trains when I’m not.
